My story
I started building websites in Singapore back in 2014. In the early days, I worked with all kinds of clients — from local businesses trying to get online for the first time to mid-sized companies looking to generate leads. Every project taught me something new about what Singapore businesses actually need from their web presence.
Over the years, I watched a pattern emerge: businesses would get burned by agencies that over-promised, under-delivered, and then vanished. Government grant schemes made things worse in some ways — they attracted agencies whose entire model was to collect the subsidy and move on. I kept getting calls from business owners with broken, orphaned websites and no one to turn to.
That's when I doubled down on what makes working with a freelance designer genuinely different: you get one person who is fully invested in your success, not a rotating team managed by someone who's never spoken to you.
